It’s been almost a year now that Sandie Cloud of For Mother Earth has been carrying my soaps. She carries what I like to think of as the “true” old-timey soaps: Pine Tar, Lye, Moonshine, Hunting, Poison Ivy, and so on.
A few months back, For Mother Earth got the opportunity to move to a exciting location. And since I just restocked Sandie’s shop a couple weeks ago I thought it was high-time to let everyone know about the new shop.
For Mother Earth is now located in the beautiful Mountain View, Arkansas. Mountain View is the county seat of Stone County in North-Central Arkansas. Situated in the Ozark Mountains, known as the folk music capitol of the world, and the home of The Ozark Folk Center, I’m yearning to head west as I type!

Okay, If you live in the area, stop by and enjoy all that For Mother Earth offers. They carry an eclectic mix of hippy styles, local wares, and all-natural products.
